I guess I should assign Journal writing to my students again. I have been using that time for Silent Reading since they need to build up stamina for the darling little thing called the TAKS test. This is the Texas State Test. Anyway, it seems like that is the BEST time for me to write my stories.

I am just writing this to let you know that I will update as soon as I can. I must go teach my sixth graders now--to borrow a phrase from a former co-worker, "I must go Stomp Out Ignorance!!"
