I am once again having trouble with my computer. I guess I am going to have to break down and call DELL, but I just hate to do that. I was kind of hoping it would correct itself, but it keeps messing it up. I guess I have done something to the hard-drive again. Computers are so nice until they goof up!!

We had a calm New Year's Eve. I gave the girls the night off so they could ring in the new year with family. Mama was pretty good. She got up around 2:30 and wandered around a little. I was able to get her back into bed without too much trouble. She got up again around 4:30 and tried to get dressed. I got her to change her undies and go back to sleep. Beverly and her daughter, Susan, showed up a little before 7:00 this morning. They saw someone moving around in the living room and thought it was me. I was snoozing back in my room. So we figured it must have been Mama--at least, I hope it was Mama. Don't want any uninvited individuals roaming around!!

Mama is eating again. I guess she wasn't feeling well before. Now that we have her back on track, she is eating everything she can get into her mouth. She must have fixed her plate and eaten at least 10 times before Penny took her riding around 10:30. She would fix plates before but only take a couple of bites. Now she eats much more each time. Guess it is a good thing I still have some of her larger dresses. We may need them before too long!!

Penny cut Mama's hair one day this week. It looks so nice. It is even a little curly--which is unusual for Mama's hair.

I am trying to cook some black-eyed peas. I figure we need all the luck we can get!!! In fact, I need to go check on them right now.

Happy New Year to one and All. May 2004 be filled with love, joy, and laughter for each of you.
Hugs,
Connie
