Sorry for the delay. I have had a few things going on. Am awaiting results of additional mammogram & sonogram. My original Mammogram had some suspicious spots on it. When I asked the sonogram lady if she saw anything bad, she answered me with, "I don't read these. I just take the pictures. A radiologist has to read it. They make a LOT more money than I do so I do my job and let them do theirs." I guess she told me!! I went last Thursday and she did tell me it would be four or five business days before my doctor received any report.

I made it to church with Mama yesterday. Michelle took her to Beverly's apartment Saturday night which is really close to our church. I just picked Mama up in time to make it to church on time. It was kind of nice to have the house to myself Sunday morning.

Mama spent Sunday afternoon dozing and eating and dozing and eating.

This morning Michelle was conked out when I got up. I didn't have the heart to wake her up so I waited until I had finished my shower. She said they had had quite a night. Michelle smelled poop around 1ish and went to investigate. (I told her I remembered that smell from last night, but just assumed I was dreaming--nightmare quality) She slipped into Mama's room and discovered Mama sound asleep with two handfuls of poop. Michelle grabbed Kleenex and got as much out of her hands as she could. Mama stayed asleep. Michelle got a wet rag to clean Mama's hands. Mama woke up and started grabbing for Michelle (YUCK!!!) She managed to get her as clean as she could and figured she would bathe Mama this morning and change the sheets after Mama woke up.

I may need to rethink next weekend. I have told both Beverly and Michelle I will take Mama for part of Easter weekend so they can spend time with their families. They have been so good about giving me breaks that I feel it is time to reciprocate. Am not sure I am up to any more poopy times though. Am sure I will end up with a few stories.

Mama seems to be losing weight again. She is eating so am not sure what is happening. I need to learn her secret!! I guess I would rather be a bit plump than have Alzheimer's though. That would not be a good weightloss plan!!!!!!!

I need to go grade some papers before my students revolt.

Hugs Until next time.
