I got Mama a doll from Parent Magazine, I think, for little ones to practice zipping, tying, buttoning, etc. It is really soft. She puts the doll in bed with her when she lies down. During the daytime, she sits her on the wicker chair by her bedroom door

Below are some conversations we have overheard as she chats with her doll.
Beverly heard:
"Do you want one?...Do you want one?...No? oh, okay." Guess the little one didn't want any cookies.

Today around 3 PM, I heard "You want to come over here? You want to come over here with me?" I thought she was talking to me so I slipped back to check on her. She was picking up the doll, kissing it, and saying "Okay, you can come over here." She tucked her in to bed.

A little later, I heard, "I am going to get my thing and bring it back here." She was telling her doll that she was going to find her purse and bring it back to her room.

A bit later, "I'll be right back." Came to the living room to give me a cookie, then went back to bed and kissed her doll.

3:23 PM I heard, "Do you want one? Huh? Do you want one? You don't? Oh, okay." She wasn't talking to me so she must have been chatting with her 'friend'.

She is calling for me to come to her now so guess I had better go see what she is up to.

Hugs,
