Our air conditioner is out so am trying to stay in front of a fan as much as possible. I am letting Mama sleep so I can get her up when Michelle comes. That way, Michelle can take her to an air conditioned house--Mama doesn't care about the temperature, but think Michelle would be happier in a cooler environment. Besides she didn't see much of Mama last week so it is my quest to make sure she isn't bored this time around!!! See how wonderful I am?

Mama took her blanket into church with us this morning. I don't think she realized where we were until she walked in the door. She tried to read the Sunday School lesson, but she only got about one in every 25 words right. On the way home she asked me if I liked what she did. I told her, "Well, it was definitely different." She smiled, nodded her head, and took that as a complement. Whatever works!!

During church Mama put her hand up under her dress, but I couldn't figure out what she was doing. I whispered (like she could hear me, yeah right) to stop that. She quit until we got in the car. As we were heading for "my house", she reached down pulled up her dress and put her hand in her Depends. I am not sure if she needed to go to the bathroom and was trying to stop it from coming out or if she was itching. I really didn't want to explore enough to discover the cause. Guess I will just have to tell the Mama-sitters to keep an eye on her. I wouldn't want to have all the fun! They need to be entertained, too!

Mama's hearing aids aren't working anymore. One of them has been on the fritz for a while. She didn't wear them for a day or so. I started searching for them. I couldn't find them. One did turn up somehow, but it was the one that wasn't working. I found the other one--the one that was working--in the dryer. I guess it got mixed up with some of her clothes. I assume it went through the wash cycle and is nice and clean now. So now neither one is working. I am not sure what to do about this since there is no way she could do a hearing test now. I also don't think she would be too happy if they put wax for the mold in her ear either. Will need to ponder on this situation a bit.

Need to go grade some papers and pay some bills.
